Avoid having to replace the fitted hook pad on your sanding device. Simply attach the ADAPTOR PAD to the fitted hook pad on your sander by means of the hook and loop feature. The sanding sheet is then easily fitted to the ADAPTOR PAD in the usual way. When the ADAPTOR PAD eventually becomes worn, simply tear it away and replace with a new one. This avoids the fairly lengthy and potentially messy process of removing the fitted hook pad from the base plate of your sander and can be done in seconds, avoiding potential down time on the job. The ADAPTOR PAD can be trimmed to the exact required size for your sander using scissors or a sharp knife. The holes or slots for dust extraction vary from one device to another. These are not essential for operation, but if dust extraction is required, simply cut the holes or slots using a sharp knife. We recommend using the sanding sheet as a template to accurately mark the hole or slot positions using a pencil or similar. Always take care when using a sharp knife.
